These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Maab – e-Invoicing and Accounts Solution Integrated with ZATCA (“Maab”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Maab platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.


1. Description of Services

Maab is a secure, cloud-based platform designed to support Phase II e-invoicing compliance with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA). The platform enables:

  • Real-time invoice generation, validation, and clearance

  • Integration with ZATCA systems

  • Management of chart of accounts and financial records

  • Accounting and reporting functionalities

Maab provides software services only and does not offer legal, tax, or financial advisory services.


2. Eligibility

By using Maab, you confirm that:

  • You are authorized to represent the business entity registering for the service

  • All information provided during registration is accurate and complete

  • You will use the platform in compliance with applicable laws and regulations


3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Restrict unauthorized access to your account

  • Notify us immediately of any suspected security breach

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.


4. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

  • Use Maab only for lawful business purposes

  • Ensure the accuracy of invoices and financial data entered into the system

  • Comply with ZATCA regulations and other applicable tax laws

  • Not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the platform

Maab is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate data entered by users.


5. Regulatory Compliance

Maab facilitates compliance with Phase II e-invoicing requirements. However:

  • Final responsibility for regulatory compliance remains with the user

  • Users must ensure their business operations align with applicable laws

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted approval or clearance by ZATCA


6. Fees and Payment

If Maab is offered on a paid subscription basis:

  • Fees are billed according to the selected plan

  • Payments must be made on time

  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.


7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Maab platform, including software, branding, content, and technology, remain the exclusive property of Maab.

Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the platform in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.


8. Data Ownership

Users retain ownership of their business data, invoices, and financial records entered into the platform.

Maab may process and store data solely for the purpose of:

  • Providing the service

  • Ensuring compliance

  • Maintaining system performance and security

9. Service Availability

We strive to ensure high availability of the platform. However:

  • Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance or updates

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

  • We are not liable for downtime caused by external systems, including ZATCA infrastructure


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Maab shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • We are not responsible for loss of profits, business interruption, or regulatory penalties resulting from misuse or incorrect data

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the preceding 12 months


11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • You fail to make required payments

  • Your use poses a security or legal risk

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.


12. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
